Wanda North Fork Hot Spring

Wanda North Fork Hot Spring is a wild hot spring in Nantou, Renai Township (中文版:萬大北溪溫泉).  The first outcrop is located 4.5km from the confluence of Wanda River, and the 2nd outcrop, which is larger and hotter, is another 300 meters beyond that.  The total hike including the forest trail is 6.5km, and takes about 5 hours round trip.  The hike is easy, but will cross the river many times.  There are areas to camp near the hot spring.

This year (2021) the hot spring was 44c.
