- Pifeng Waterfall
Pifeng Waterfall (中文版：埤豐瀑布) is a dynamic waterfall in Taichung, Shigang Township. The waterfall was formed by a permanent fault line shift during the 1999 Jiji Earthquake. When it it first formed it spanned the entire river, but the earth is soft and susceptible to erosion, so it changes every year, and also gradually retreats up the river. When the water level is high, it becomes the widest waterfall in Taiwan, at more than 100 meters in width.
