Wulai Hot Spring (中文版:烏來溫泉) is a riverside hot spring in New Taipei City, Wulai District. The public baths are gone, but the wild hot springs remain. It's only a five minute walk to the wild hot springs from Wulai Old Street, and you don't need to cross the river to get there. As of February 2018, there are several hot pools to soak in. This areas floods during heavy rains, so it will be inaccessible in the summer, and you should avoid the riverbed if a heavy rain warning is in affect. Check the CWB website for the latest weather information.
This is the old Wulai Hot Spring. These decades-old baths were destroyed in May of 2017 amid protests and controversy.
