Double Dragon Waterfall (中文版: 雙龍瀑布), also called Shuanlong Waterfall, has the most spectacular bridge I have ever been on in Taiwan. It's absolutely thrilling (terrifying for those of you with vertigo) and quite beautiful. And, it's the longest suspension bridge in Taiwan.
The bridge spans 337 meters. Each pipe is 10cm in diameter. We can calculate the weight of the water in those pipes at 350m, since they extend beyond the bridge on either end..
(2 pipes) x (10cm^2) x (Pi) x (350 meters) = 21,991,148cm^3 = ~22,000 KG, plus the all the metal supports and cabling used in it's construction. It's an extremely strong bridge. It could hold hundreds of people.
It's very narrow though, and there is no netting on the side, so be careful while crossing it.
Double Dragon Waterfall (雙龍瀑布) is beautiful and view from the valley is spectacular. It's not officially open for tourists yet, so be conscientious and respectful while you are there.
Update 2017: The new path is finished. You don't need to cross the bridge.
