Jiuchaihu and Sezikeng (中文版： 韭菜湖和澀仔坑湖) are two lakes connected by a small stream in Nantou, Guoxing Township. Both lakes were formed when a large section of Jiufen 2nd mountain slid into the valley in 1999, creating a natural rock dam. The lakes are great for swimming in and are also popular for recreational fishing. Both lakes are very easy to get to, there is no hiking required. However, at the end of June 2016, "No swimming and fishing" signs were put up around the lakes.
Jiucaihu, the upper lake, covers 2.85 hectares.
Sezikeng, the lower lake, covers 5 hectares.
Around the park there are dozens of places to camp. The main road to Sezikeng is partially blocked by large stones, so wide cars have to park at Jiucaihu, or drive up through the lower road, which is easier in a 4WD vehicle. Motorcycles and narrower cars can drive in through the front.
Monuments and memorials for the 921 Jiji Earthquake and be found in the park around the surrounding areas.
There is also a hidden entrance to the backside of Sezikeng Lake at Sezikeng Lake Waterfall.
