- Macao Hot Spring
Macao Hot Spring (中文版: 馬槽溫泉 ) is a field of active fumaroles in Taipei, Beitou District. Hundreds of fumaroles of varying size and temperature stretch from the bridge to the top of the mountain. Although many of these produce hot water for pools, it's not recommended to stay and soak in them due to high acidity. Although beautiful, fumaroles produce several noxious gases which have adverse health effects. Don't linger in the smoke and if you feel dizzy or lightheaded, leave the area immediately.
