Fuxing Landslide Lake (中文版:復興堰塞湖) is a deep lake in Kaohsiung, Taoyuan District. It was formed by a landslide during Typhoon Marakot in 2009. When the lake is full it covers an area of 2.4 hectares. It's great for swimming but get's deep immediately. There are no shallow areas. The path is steep, but easy to follow. The lake is typically fullest after the typhoon season.
