- Jiaolong Waterfall
Jiaolong Waterfall (中文版：蛟龍瀑布) is a very tall waterfall in Chiayi, Alishan Township. It's the tallest waterfall in Taiwan at more than 400 meters, and it may be the tallest waterfall group in Taiwan as well, at more than 600 meters. It's easily visible from the surrounding roads and towns, and there is a viewpoint nearby, although the best angle is from Jiaolong Bridge. Jiaolong Waterfall flows all rainy season, but it is biggest immediately after a heavy rain. During the winter and spring it often dries up completely.
