It took me close to a year, but I’m happy to announce that I have finally opened a company in Taiwan. This is a big first step, because it gives me some capabilities that I did not have before. The first of these is a method of staying in Taiwan after I graduate from Kainan University.

This is a big deal because it makes my status more permanent, and allows me to focus long-term goals. It also allows me to attempt more ambitious projects, because it provides a way for me me to earn a living in Taiwan, and to deduct business expenses.
My dream is to produce an online show, where I travel around Taiwan, exploring and mapping new places that aren’t on maps, visiting cultural and scenic spots, camping, hiking, and playing water sports. I want to engage in and promote environmental awareness, as well as educational, safety, and sustainable tourism.
Through this all I will be hosting guests, and sharing the stories and knowledge of those who wish to join me on these adventures.
It’s a big project, but now that I have a have passed the legal challenges, things will happen quickly. I’m working full-time preparing for this show, and am on track start filming this winter.
I detail more about my plans in the video below.
The next challenges are engineering. I need to build a mobile adventure studio so that I can stay on the road and film for weeks at a time, without having to return home for any reason. I will be detailing this process in the following videos, and posting new updates as this project progresses, and then finally the show itself, on my Youtube channel.
