Candlesticks Beach

Candlesticks Beach (中文版:燭臺沙灘) is a secluded sandy beach facing Candlesticks Island in New Taipei City, Jinshan District. It's only a short, 10 minute walk to the beach, but the path down is steep and slippery. At the bottom there is a sandy beach, which is a nice place to swim, snorkel, and camp. Candlesticks Island is 420 meters from the beach but he ocean currents near the island can very strong. Please take precautions and bring an ocean float, SUP, or canoe if you plan to visit the island and Please consult the Central Weather Bureau website for tidal schedules and predicted sea conditions, which can help you plan your trip.
