Qingshui Beach

Qingshui Beach (中文版:清水海灘) is a beautiful pebble beach at the bottom of the amazing Qingshui cliffs in Hualian, Xiulin Township. It's popular to take pictures of the beach from a viewpoint along the Su'hua Highway, but there is also a path down to the beach from the Qingshui rest area. The is short and steep, but there are ropes and a ladder which make it easier. This path also crosses live railroad tracks. Please look for trains and cross as quickly as possible. This is a rural section of track. Express trains pass through here at full speed.
