Xiuluan Hot Spring

Xiuluan Hot Spring (中文版: 秀巒溫泉) is a beautiful hot spring right next to the riverbed in in Hsinchu, Jianshi Township. There is no hike required, the hot spring is close to the road. In December the leaves change to bright fall colors. It's a popular place for photographers and spectators, especially for sunsets. There are many nice places to camp around the hot spring.

If you don't see the springs, just dig a little and the water will come out. You can control the temperature by mixing it with river water.

Taigang Hot Spring is a 30 minute hike from Xiuluan Hot Spring.
