Difficulty 4

This hike will be difficult for people who don't hike often, and challenging for active people. Difficulty 4 can have some of the following attributes: The path may be difficult to follow in some places The path could go through challenging parts of a river with deep or fast water. There may be elevation gain over 500 meters (less than 1000 meters) Many parts of the path may be steep with guide ropes Some areas may require bouldering or climbing. Ropes on the trail are inadequate or require technical climbing skills. Or it may take over two hours to reach the destination. Safety gear such as helmets and lifejackets are required for routes that go into the rivers. Please check the maps for more details. Water levels can be elevated after a heavy rain. Please check the weather forecast before going out, and also if there have been heavy rains without the past few days.
